Altona Green Primary School has taken pride in its service to the families of Altona Meadows since its establishment in 1990. With an approximate student population of 400, the school embraces children from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Altona Green Primary School is part of the Hobsons Bay network of schools, collaborating to ensure the provision of top-quality education to students in our local community. The school maintains high expectations for all students, with a clear vision of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they aim for students to acquire during their time in the school community. Offering a diverse and engaging curriculum from Prep to Year 6, the school provides students with rich learning experiences in the Arts, Physical Education, STEM, and Italian, alongside excellent literacy and numeracy programs. Digital Technologies play a significant role in the classroom, supported by a 1:1 BYOD iPad program for all students. Additionally, students in Years 1-6 have the opportunity to participate in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, a well-established initiative at the school.
