Since its establishment in 1886, the Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) has influenced the lives of hundreds of thousands of students. Today, it has expanded into a family of six excellent schools, including ACS (Independent), ACS (Junior), ACS (Primary), ACS (Barker Road), and Anglo-Chinese Junior College, with a combined enrollment of more than 10,000 students in Singapore and ACS (Jakarta), in Indonesia. All of the Anglo-Chinese Schools uphold the Anglo-Chinese School traditions and have earned a prestigious reputation for turning out many of the country's top businesspeople, athletes, and leaders. Few international schools in Singapore are as able to honor their past as Anglo-Chinese Schools (International). The first Anglo-Chinese School in Singapore was founded by Bishop Oldham in 1886, and this secondary school has built its future on the pillars of that tradition. Anglo-Chinese School (International) is currently a part of a Singapore-based family of six Methodist schools. With an international curriculum that begins with IGCSEs and culminates with the IB in the final two years, ACS (International), founded in 2005, stands out from its sister institutions. The school teaches students aged 12 to 19 years old.
