Christian parents who were deeply committed to their children's education rather than a church or denomination founded Annandale Christian College. They were looking for an education that would support and align with the biblical principles they upheld and instilled in their own families. When Canterbury Christian School first opened its doors in 1982, it had thirteen pupils and one instructor at the football clubhouse at Pioneer Park in Kirwan. This was the beginning of Annandale Christian College.

Academic Excellence: In 2023, ACC’s Year 9 cohort achieved the 34th highest ranking among all Year 9 groups in Queensland, marking a significant improvement of over 40 positions from previous years. This accomplishment reflects the dedication of both students and staff, as well as the effective learning strategies implemented at the college.  Enrichment Programs: The college offers enrichment programs designed to nurture the talents of gifted students, providing them with opportunities to develop their God-given abilities in various academic and creative fields.
