School History & Details

On June 19, 1870, Apsley Primary School opened, with Annie Hamilton serving as the head teacher. A modest wooden building behind the Apsley bakery served as the school's location. Following the 1872 Act's passage, it was renamed. On property near the ancient Town Hall, a sizable school room was constructed around 1880. Their buildings had a renovation in 2004. This significantly enhanced the school's administrative spaces and integration resources.

Additionally, in 2021, the school was awarded funding from the Australian Government Schools Upgrade Fund, which is intended to improve its facilities and infrastructure.
