The prominent figures behind this school were the Roman Catholics and the name of the school is given after James F. Carney who is known to be Archbishop. Initially, the school started with a students enrollment of only 87 and with time the school expanded and grew. The school is a secondary school that comprises of Grade 8 to 12. The school today has a strength of 600 students starting from Grade 8 to 12 as the school is specifically a secondary school. The school is a Catholic school but it also allows the non-cathilocs and International students to take admission.
