School History & Details

Founded in 1960, Arkana College is a primary school that is registered and certified as autonomous, non-government, and is presently entirely managed by a board of directors comprised of Muslims. This school was growing because so many Muslim parents were looking for Islamic schools for their kids. The school's governing council bought a portable classroom in 1999 so that it could continue to serve the needs of the community and meet the demand. A brand-new, specially designed portable facility was rented and installed on the school's property in February 2000.

National Robotics Champions: Arkana College’s robotics team has achieved national recognition by winning the Australian Primary School Robotics Championship. This accomplishment has qualified them to represent Australia at the world finals in Japan later this year.

These programs are designed to instill values such as Adab (manners), confidence, empowerment, generosity, integrity, and responsibility.  Community Engagement: Arkana College actively participates in community initiatives and fosters partnerships with other educational institutions, including collaborative programs with schools in Hong Kong focusing on STEM education and cultural exchange.
