Founded in 1939  as the merger of Cone School of Dancing and Ripman School, the school started out as a small institution dedicated to the arts but has grown over the years to become one of the most respected educational establishments in the country. Under Cone's leadership, the school quickly gained a reputation for excellence and attracted some of the most talented students in the country.
