The Asian International School (AIS) Al Ruwais was established as a small villa school back in 1988. In 1993 the school earned secondary school status and in 1999 added Grade 11 and Grade 12. In terms of nationalities, followed by the Pakistanis, Egyptians and Jordanians most students are Indians. Followed by the middle school, secondary school and kindergarten the majority of the students are enrolled in the primary stage.
This school follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for its educational program. In Grade 10 and Grade 12 the students sit the All India Secondary School Examination to earn secondary and higher secondary certificates. For Arabic, Islamic Education and UAE Social Studies the school also follows the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum. To a plethora of opportunities for their holistic development the students are exposed.
The school offers a comprehensive extracurricular program aimed to discover the hidden potential of the students besides the rigorous educational program. The academic and non-academic provisions of Asian International Private School are fully supported by the school facilities.
