Augathella State School, founded in 1882, has undergone numerous transformations throughout the years and has evolved into a contemporary educational facility equipped with a Resource Centre, computer lab, and three modern, spacious teaching areas. As a member of the Charleville cluster, Augathella State School receives support from the Darling Downs South West regional team. Located on the Warrego River, the town of Augathella is positioned approximately 750 kilometers northwest of Brisbane and 84 kilometers north of Charleville. The Department of Education is dedicated to ensuring that children and families in Queensland have access to kindergarten programs regardless of their location. At our school, we proudly offer a kindergarten program five days per fortnight, delivered by a qualified teacher to children who are at least four years old by 30 June of the year they commence the program.
