Application Requirements

Aurora School application requirements are as follows:

  • Children as young as two years old can enrol. The year before your child is scheduled to start pre-school is when positions are assigned. Every year, applications for enrollment close on June 30. The pre-school will get in touch with you regarding your child's place sometime between July and September of that year.
  • Before applying, your child must be two years old.
  • If your application is received before your child turns two, it won't be processed and might be sent back to you.
  • You must simultaneously apply for four-year-old pre-school if you are applying for three-year-old pre-school.
  • Only one year of pre-school for children ages three and four may be applied for.
  • Only one pre-school preference and a maximum of two alternatives should be chosen.
  • Only one application per child may be submitted.
  • Please include the $50 non-refundable application fee for each child with your application.
  • Your child must turn four by April 30 of the year they enrol in four-year-old pre-school in order to be eligible for a year of sponsored pre-school.
