The Avenue Pre-Prep and Nursery School was first established in 1977 by Mary Fysh as a tiny child-minding organisation with just six kids. The school outgrew its space in her home as the years went on, and in September 1989, it moved into its current site with a roll of 40 kids ranging in age from 2 1/2 to 5 years. A hall, a classroom, and a library were added to the structure in July 2003, allowing the school to expand the age range to include students in Years 1 and 2. Since 2004, the school has been listed as an independent school with the Department of Education. The school submitted an application to join the IAPS and membership was granted.
The wellbeing of every child in a safe, welcoming, and caring atmosphere is our nondenominational Avenue Pre-Prep and Nursery School's top goal. They are dedicated to providing an engaging and dynamic learning environment where every child is cherished and encouraged to fulfil their potential since we feel that children are our most important resource for the future. The values that the school upholds are as follows:
Caring and Friendly environment
