Avon House Preparatory School, which accepted boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 11, was established in 1955. Originally known as Essex House Preparatory School, Avon House Preparatory School was established on the current location in 1965 with students ranging in age from 3 to 13 years old. Avon House School Ltd. has owned the school since 1970. The School was acquired from its former owner under the direction of Mrs. Sheila Ferrari, and over time it developed into a learning facility offering a superb private education for students of all abilities.
