In 2006, the median ENTER was 85.70, with 40.06% of students achieving an ENTER at or above 90, and 5.07% achieving an ENTER at or above 99. In 2004, 55 students received ENTER scores exceeding 97, and the median ENTER was 86.95. Balwyn High School was ranked fifth among all state secondary schools in Victoria according to VCE results in 2018.
