The "Bangpakok Wittayakom School" is a public high school in Bangkok, Thailand. Secondary students in grades 7 to 12, aged 11 to 18, are admitted. The school was once known as Mattayom Wat Bangpakok School. The Bangpakok Wittayakom School was founded by (Phra-kru-sas sik-ka-kij), an abbot of Wat Bangpakok. He requested that the Ministry of Education establish a school in the Bangpakok district. In the beginning, he taught on the second level of the disciplined building of Wat Bangpakok. Bangpakok Wittayakom School first opened for grade 11 students on May 17, 1949. Later, (lom fuk-u-dom), (boon-na-korn mung-ka-lee), and (ta-nhom iam-tos) purchased land, transferred it to the Department of General Education, and handed it to Wat Bangpakok. The school was then relocated to a new school building on the 9600 m2 plot on January 3, 1951. Lom Fuk-u-dom donated an additional 4,048 m2 to the school in 1964. The Bangpakok Wittayakom School covers around 12,000 m2. Bangpakok Wittayakom School was recognized for its high school curriculum in 1974.
