Bangladesh International School Dammam was established in 1987. The school was inaugurated by H. E. Hedayet Ahmed, then ambassador of Bangladesh. In the beginning, the school was operated by the cultural wing of the Bangladesh Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Now the school is run by a private body elected by parents. The school follows the British curriculum from KG through grade 12 in a co-educational setting. The school is situated in Ghirnatahad Dammam. Currently, it has around 1400 students coming from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Sudan, and Ethiopia.
