Bangladesh International School, English Section (BISES) opened in 1990 for the students of the Bangladeshi community. The school was initially run by the Bangladesh Embassy and was known as the "Bangladesh Embassy School," but administrative control was later transferred to the parents' community. Due to a growing population of students, the school shifted from its previous location to Khazzan St. so they could accommodate more students on their new, independent campus.
