School History & Details

In 1868, the school commenced its operations within a weatherboard Anglican Church Hall. Subsequently, in 1880, the first public school building was inaugurated. Later on, in 1924, a new two-storey school was established at its current location near the water tower on the Hume Highway. The school's infrastructure was further expanded in 1944 with the completion of extensions to the existing building. In 1953, a four-room infants department was constructed, followed by the erection of another permanent building with two classrooms in 1959. As time progressed, the school incorporated demountable classrooms as a notable feature during the 1980s.
