Beaudesert State High School serves students pursuing a wide range of career pathways with an excellent and comprehensive curriculum. The school opened its doors in 1963.

In 2024, the school celebrated a significant achievement with a 100% completion rate for the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) among its Year 12 students, a milestone that had not been reached since the new system was implemented in 2019. Additionally, students have demonstrated remarkable academic prowess, consistently earning numerous Year 12 Subject Awards. Notably, in 2019, Shae-Anne Willmann distinguished herself by receiving awards in agricultural science, biological science, chemistry, English, and Japanese, along with the prestigious Jim Enright Memorial Trophy and the Caltex Award for her overall performance.

In 2009, Beaudesert State High School showcased its performing arts talents by participating in the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge with their production titled "The Grapes of Wrath." The school also demonstrates a strong commitment to community engagement, as evidenced by its involvement in the 150th anniversary celebrations of Beaudesert, which attracted over 1,500 attendees who enjoyed a variety of food, entertainment, and displays from local community groups.
