A registration form and the registration fee of £125 must be provided in order to begin the admissions process. Typically, registrations must be received by 1 December of the year before the desired entry. However, it is advised to register early, particularly for families who also intend to apply for a scholarship and/or bursary, as supplementary paperwork must be filled out and submitted by the same deadline of 1 December. Boys who register for Year 9 (13+) enrollment two or more years in advance are offered the option to take the ISEB Common Pre-Test in either Year 6 or Year 7 if they so choose. At this point, they may receive a conditional or unconditional offer of a place. Candidates who are given an unconditional offer must take the 13+ entrance exams in the spring of Year 8 in order to determine what kind of support they will need when they enrol in the school.
