Belair Primary School proudly holds the status of an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP). This curriculum focuses on inquiry-based learning and fosters a global outlook, seamlessly integrating with the Australian Curriculum. 

The school has established a sister school partnership with Momoyama Elementary School in Kyoto, Japan, facilitating a biennial exchange program. This initiative allows students to experience reciprocal visits, attend classes, stay with host families, and engage in cultural excursions, enriching their educational experience.

As part of the Department for Education’s local partnership model, Belair Primary School collaborates with nearby preschool and school sites to enhance student outcomes and optimize resource utilization, promoting a cohesive educational environment.

Recognized as a Music Focus School in the region, Belair Primary School provides specialized music education along with various extracurricular opportunities, including participation in the Festival Choir and private music lessons.

The school actively engages in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as debating and the Tournament of Minds, as well as after-school language programs in French and Mandarin. Additionally, it participates in sports initiatives coordinated by School Sport SA, formerly known as SAPSASA, to promote physical education and teamwork among students.
