One of the newest secondary schools in Queensland is Bellbird Park State Secondary College. The school first opened its doors in January 2017, and the first graduating class of year 12 was in 2022. By 2025, BPSSC anticipates having more than 2000 students enrolled. Currently, the enrollment stands at over 1800. Because of their high standards, no excuses policy, and vision of a year's worth of improvement for a year's input, BPSSC has amassed an excellent reputation in the community. philosophy

Additionally, in the Australian Education Awards 2023, the college was celebrated as the Special Education School of the Year, emphasizing its commitment to inclusive education. Furthermore, BPSSC received the Student Award at the APATA National Awards 2025, marking its second accolade in this category, reflecting the school's dedication to excellence in education.
