It is a boarding school that educates boys from classes 1 to 12 and is ranked as the best boarding school in Uttar Pradesh. The school follows ICSE/ISC Board of Education which is an internationally recognized board. Every year, it accepts students from all over India and abroad. The founder Acharya of ISKON A.C Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada laid the cornerstone of BGIS.

The school is proud of its academic achievements. in 2020, the school topped the Mathura district in ICSE examinations and ranked as 1st boarding school in UP by Education World. In 2015, students secured 100% in commerce in the ICSE Board exam. It has also been awarded the Green School Award.
