Bhonsala Military School, Nagpur came into existence in 1996. The founder father of the school during pre-independence British rule realized the importance of Indianising the armed forces, and the importance of providing professional military training to India's youth. Therefore in 1935, we decided to establish the Central Hindu military education Society. The foundation stone of the first Institute of the Society, Bhonsala Military School, was laid by his excellence. Till now, the school has been recognised as the focal point of military education and also considered as one of the premium Residential school in India.
