In recent years, the school community has exhibited remarkable resilience and determination in navigating substantial challenges and transformations. Following a fire incident at the school in September 2018, students and staff were temporarily relocated for three months to two local secondary schools. Collaboratively, they embraced this challenge, returning to their original site in December 2018 and adjusting to a markedly different campus that features a large Portakabin village for classrooms. Braeview Academy is proud to offer a comprehensive and skills-oriented curriculum within both the Broad General Education and Senior Phase. Through an expanding array of partnerships, the academy has made significant strides in implementing work-related learning opportunities, thereby equipping young individuals with invaluable workplace experience.
