Braybrook College was established in the year 1960. In 2010, Braybrook College commemorated its fiftieth anniversary. The ceremony was held on August 14, 2010. Displays depicting college life over the decades were observed by parents, students, and curious community members, both past and present, who shared many tales.

• Outstanding VCE Results (2024): The 2024 cohort achieved remarkable success. Kaytlin Tran, the College Dux, attained an ATAR of 99.25 and is pursuing Pharmacy at Monash University. Other high achievers include Matilda Crosbie (ATAR 99.15) and Xiao Lynn Chia (ATAR 99.00), who are studying Arts and Science/Engineering at the University of Melbourne, respectively.   • Vocational Education Success: In 2024, 53 students graduated with the VCE (Vocational Major), with many continuing to further education in fields such as Business, Community Services, Laboratory Skills, Early Education, Hospitality, and trades like cabinet-making, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

• Debating Excellence: Students Lynn Chia (Year 12) and Isabella Thomas (Year 10) received top awards from the Debaters Association of Victoria in 2024, highlighting the school’s strong debating program.   • Sports Achievements: • Futsal: The Senior Boys Futsal team clinched the 2025 West Victoria School Futsal Titles Under 19s Championship for the second consecutive year, remaining undefeated. • Volleyball: The Year 12 Volleyball Team secured the Gold Medal at the Victorian Volleyball Junior Open (VVJO) 2024 held in Dandenong. • National Futsal Champions: In 2024, the Senior Futsal team achieved national success by winning the Australasian Champion of Champions – Under 19 Boys Futsal competition in Brisbane.   • Scholarship Programs: Braybrook College offers scholarships in four areas: Academic Achievement, Leadership, Sport, and Music/Performing Arts/Creative Arts, fostering a holistic development environment for students.

• Antoinette Braybrook AM: A distinguished alumna, Antoinette is the CEO of Djirra, an organization providing holistic and specialist legal support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people experiencing family violence. She received the Deakin University Alumni Excellence Award in 2024.   • Linh Do: An environmental advocate, Linh won the 2008 VCE Achiever of the Year Award for her community contributions, including attending Kevin Rudd’s 2020 Youth Summit and Al Gore’s climate-change leadership training.   • Steven Banh: An alumnus who, through the support of Braybrook College and the Skyline Foundation, secured a scholarship to study at the University of Melbourne’s Trinity College, overcoming financial challenges and embracing college life.   • Brian Wilson: A former Australian rules footballer who played for multiple VFL clubs, including Melbourne, where he won the Brownlow Medal in 1982. He is noted as the youngest winner since 1959 and the only player to have won the award at his third club.
