Brighton Beach Primary School was established in the year 1878. With the goal of maximising student participation and engagement, Brighton Beach Primary School takes great pleasure in its culture of excellent teaching and learning. Artistic Recognition: In 2025, three students—Bauti and Frankie from Year 3, and Claudia from Grade 4—were finalists in a regional art competition, selected from over 200 entries across Bayside schools. Their artworks reflected creativity and understanding around the theme of reconciliation.  Student Engagement: The school celebrated its Prep students’ milestone of 100 days of school, showcasing their learning growth during Three Way Conferences.

Inclusive Playground Development: Brighton Beach Primary School received a $200,000 grant from the Inclusive Schools Fund to build an inclusive playground, providing children of all abilities new ways to socialize, develop, and learn through play.   Cultural Initiatives: The school is committed to equipping students with the skills and knowledge to discuss and share their learnings about First Nations cultures, promoting cultural understanding and respect.   Community Fundraising: The Parent Association and Dreamers Football team have raised over $20,000 for the school, supporting various programs and initiatives.
