School History & Details

Brighton Secondary College was established in 1955 until 1988 it was called a high school. The majority of staff at the school is female, and it was one of the first schools in the local area to enroll more than 1000 pupils and was totally led by an all women staff. It is a secular and coeducational school that believes in the tradition of excellence. The school has its newspaper which is called highlights.

Da Vinci Centre Recognition: BSC’s Da Vinci Centre, dedicated to science, arts, technology, and general learning, was awarded the “Most Outstanding New Individual Facility” by the Council of Education Facility Planners International (CEFPI) Victoria.   Sports and Arts Programs: The college offers extensive co-curricular programs, including high-performance sports opportunities and comprehensive arts programs, allowing students to explore and excel in various fields beyond academics.
