The British Columbia International School- Bangkok Admission Process:-

A new admissions procedure the British Columbia International School- Bangkok has initiated to help your child get the most from his/her educational journey. The school looks forward to meeting with parents to learn more about their needs.

• STEP 1: For Assessment Test Download Application Form
• The parents would begin by making an appointment with the school admission coordinator, Ms. Fern Thongtharb. By emailing ([email protected]) get in touch with her or call the school on +66 (0) 2-802-1188 ext. 117. They would love for parents to come in and take a tour of the school, learn more about their curriculum and get all the parents questions answered.
• STEP 2: By a Canadian Teacher get tested
• A scheduled appointment with Mr. Richard Turenne the next step would be, at BCISB a Canadian trained Resource Teacher, who will test your child's writing, reading, decoding and numeracy levels. Following these tests, the school team will inform the parents, if their school is a good fit for your child. Based on his/ her current level of proficiency in school subjects and the English language this process will ensure the efficient placement of your child.
• STEP 3: Receive Feedback
• At BCISB their professionally trained staff will help parents understand exactly where their child stands. In most cases, the admissions process is fairly quick if all requirements are met. Otherwise, the school provide guidance on the steps that need to be taken to ensure his/ her success in education. Whether an ESL program this would involve to bring about the required language proficiency or in grade level a change. The school aim is to ensure the comfort of your child and into an International school environment enable a smooth transition.
