Important Information

The British International School, Phuket Fee Details:-

1. At BISP, fees are charged per term with 40% in term 1 and in terms 2 and 3 30%, except for years 11 & 13 when the charges are 50% in term 1, 35% in term 2, and 15% in term 3.

2. Additional Charges are made for:

a. Transport (87 900 Baht).

b. Intensive English Course, if required (100 000 Baht).

c. High-Performance Sports fees.

d. Sports Trips.

e. Paid Activities, Individual Music lessons.

f. Middle school instruments and group lessons.

g. Examination fees for IGCSE and IB examinations.

From the school shop, school uniforms, and sporting equipment are available.

The students are expected to have a MacBook from Year 5. From Studio 7 (Central with ID card) the Macbooks are available at educational prices or from the Apple Educational Webstore (you will need to register with a school email address).

3. Admission Costs:

a. Application Fee - 6000 Baht per application.

b. Placement Fee - 200 000 Baht for one student or 250 000 Baht for a family with more than one student.

c. Academy Placement Fee - For the students who wish to join the sports academics, an additional fee may be payable, for the Academy the Head coaches will assess suitability and on this assessment provide parents with feedback.

4. Bond:

Bond - 150 000 Baht (When the student leaves BISP, this fee is refundable).

For the school, this acts as a financial security, and upon withdrawal, a student is returned providing all fees have been cleared. To ensure that the financial default burden does not impact in any way upon the school service to other families is what this bond goes some way. Providing all fees have been paid in full, at IB level in Year 13 the bond may be used to offset the extra examination costs.

In the fees lunch and snacks are included:

a. Annual Fees - 3 days.
Morning only - 120 000 Baht.
Full Day - 180 000 Baht.

b. Annual Fees - 4 days.
Morning only - 151 000 Baht.
​Full Day - 227 000 Baht.

c. Annual Fees - 5 days.
Morning only - 176 000 Baht.
​Full Day - 264 000 Baht etc.

Scholarship

The British International School, Phuket offers scholarships to exceptional students. The school provides scholarships in the following areas i.e. Academics (at IBDP level), Football, Tennis, Golf, Swimming, Aerial arts, and Visual arts.

Scholarships are available for day and boarding students. Scholarships in swimming, tennis, and golf are dependent on national rankings or independently demonstrated levels of high ability.

To maintain and enhance the strong academic, sporting, and cultural environment of BISP by attracting outstanding students to the school is the purpose of the scholarship program.
