School History & Details

Broadrick Secondary School (BSS) is a co-educational government secondary school on Singapore's Old Airport Road. The school is right next to the Dakota MRT station. Broadrick Secondary School opened on Dunman Road in 1968 as an integrated school with English and Chinese streams. On March 14, 1969, Mr. Joseph Francis Conceicao, the then-Member of Parliament for Katong, officially opened the school. Dr. Yaacob Ibrahim officially launched the school on July 20, 2007, after it relocated to its new home at 61 Dakota Crescent in 2005. On April 24, 2015, Broadrick Secondary School celebrated its 45th anniversary, which was attended by alumnus and  Minister for Communications and Information, Dr. Yaacob Ibrahim.
