Broke Public School was founded in 1871 to serve a rural population, but it currently serves the requirements of the village and the residential farmlets that surround it. A cherished part of the Singleton Learning Community is Broke Public School. The school is run by the School Council, which is composed of staff members, members of the larger school community, and active parents and citizens' association (P&C).
