Burpengary Meadows State School was established in 2007 and currently has over 700 students enrolled in the school. The school provides friendly and warm environmental students and has a dedicated staff that adopts a future-oriented policy which focuses on creating an environment that is aspirational and strives for excellence.

Students in Years 4–6 participate in a BYO iPad program to build digital literacy. Music & arts excellence: Offers strong music programs, including Strings and Concert Band, and holds annual Excellence Awards ceremonies recognizing top student achievement. Sporting success: Students excel regionally—recently a 3rd place finish in Regional Cross Country, with finalists heading to state levels.
