School History & Details

Caloundra State School was established in 1898 in a very humble setting. In the year 1899, the school had nine registered students. In 1906, an official committee was established in the school to look after the implementation of a curriculum and develop a rigid structure for teachers. Since then the school has expanded its building and now has over 600 students with over 40 teaching staff.
