The Cambridge International School (CIS) was established in 1983 and is presently located in Al Garhoud. Managed by the GEMS Education, this school is one of the longest-established, reasonably priced private schools partnered with GEMS Group that follows the British curriculum.
To the kindergarten students, this school offers the Early Years Foundation curriculum and until the Year 9 students, the National Curriculum of England and to the students in Year 10 and 11, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) are offered. Respectively, to the students enrolled in Year 12 and 13, as the Sixth Form the AS and A level is offered.
The Cambridge International School aims to provide the students with a thorough preparation to face the modern world and their educational programs place significant emphasis on:

At the MUN held at Gems Founders School, Al Barsha on 4th, 5th and 6th November, 2022, a total of 23 students proudly represented CIS and the school outshone everyone else and at the prestigious competition bagged the maximum number of awards.
