Carinity Education Glendyne is one of five institutions managed by Carinity. Its sister institution in Brisbane, Carinity Education Southside, follows a similar educational framework and is exclusively for female students. Carinity also operates campuses in Rockhampton, Gladstone, and Townsville. Established in 1998, Carinity Education Glendyne began with five young men who had faced significant life challenges. In 2002, Carinity Education Glendyne was officially registered as a Special Assistance School for secondary students. The institution has since expanded and currently serves approximately 126 students. In 2013, the school introduced Years 6 and 7, which became part of a new Middle School program catering to students from Years 6 to 8. These services include care for the elderly, shelters for homeless youth, support for families and young individuals in crisis, assistance for people with disabilities, retirement lifestyle communities, and chaplaincy services in hospitals.
