School History & Details

The first Protestant primary school in the area, Carlisle Adventist College has been located in the Mackay District for more than 70 years. With 22 children enrolled, Carlisle began in 1951 at the Church Hall at the back of the Central Mackay Church on Milton Street. We have a vibrant, community-minded community. In order to better serve people both inside and outside of our community, we work to uplift, educate, and better ourselves. The school moved to Holts Road in 2006. Enrolment increased between 2015 and 2017, and Year 11 was added in 2018. Carlisle Adventist School's first Year 12 graduation class took place the following year, in 2019.
