School History & Details

Carmel Catholic High School was established in 1962. It is sponsored by O.Carm and the sisters of Charity of BVM. In 1960, these two religious communities were invited to build a co-institutional Catholic high school in Lake Country. In 1962, the school opened its doors for 175 boys and after a year girls were admitted to the school. For more than 60 years it has been committed to offering a quality Catholic education and generating young men and women to make a positive impact in society.
