School History & Details

Beginning in 1995, Central Coast Steiner School had modest beginnings. A kindergarten with eight students and Patricia Dodman, a committed Steiner teacher who aspired to introduce Steiner education to the Central Coast, shared a modest classroom in a mudbrick home. Over the course of their journey, the school has relocated from the mudbrick house in Holgate to Newcastle University's campus in Ourimbah and finally to North Gosford. They finally moved into their permanent residence in 2006, which is located on seven acres of picturesque rural land in Fountaindale.
