The Fort Nelson First Nation owns and runs Chalo School, which is situated about 7 kilometers south of Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. It started in 1982 as an elementary school.  Harry Chalo Dickie, a FNFN elder who felt that education was crucial and would empower people, is honored by having his name associated with the school.In order to guarantee that secondary school students are enrolled in programs that Chalo School does not offer,
