Charterhouse Square School & Nursery has around 250 students, in the age group 3 to 11. It is an independent  and co-educational day school in the City of London's Barbican neighborhood. It is housed in a five-story Victorian structure that once housed a Carthusian monastery and overlooks Charterhouse Square. Jamie Malden established the school in 1985 with 23 pupils. Being a member of the extensive Cognita family of schools gives Charterhouse Square School great pride. With the singular goal of fostering self-belief and equipping students for success, Cognita is an incredible network of distinct yet interconnected schools.
