Bible Based Curriculum
The sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart, known as the "brown Joes" because of their unusual habits, started our school in 1954. The MacKillop sayings, which embody the values of our institution, derive from the foundation of this order by Saint Mary MacKillop. August 8th is Mary MacKillop's feast day, and on that day, the school will hold a special liturgy.
The school was relocated to its current location in 2009, on the intersection of Maioro and Richardson Roads, from its old location behind the notable Christ the King Church on Richardson Road. Christ the King has a unique family atmosphere because it has always been a small school. There are roughly 165 pupils on the roll right now. Although there are no longer any Josephite sisters employed by the school, the Josephite traditions and teachings are carried on via our school's charism, which promotes the ideals of justice, peace, joy, and respect.
A safe, stimulating, and orderly environment. The active promotion of Christian values and beliefs. The development of a servant's heart—the willingness to use one's position of authority to help others. Honest and fruitful contact between the school and the family.
A beautifully constructed and well-appointed school campus that offers top-notch sports facilities in addition to all the amenities of a modern-day learning environment, such as libraries, auditoriums...View moreView Less
