In the Al Tallah 2 neighbourhood of Ajman, City American School, a newer institution, began classes in September 2020. The school first opened from KG1 to Grade 5 before establishing its Middle and High school sections, with a combined capacity of just over 400 pupils in the KG and Elementary portion. The school will start accepting students in Grade 8 in September 2022. READ, the education division of R Holding is the owner of three educational institutions, including City American School. By opening City University College of Ajman in 2012, READ entered the Ajman educational market (CUCA).
