With a staff of one special education coordinator and three learning support assistants, the school has established a specialised and fully functional SEN Department. There is a sensory room in the department, and the personnel will provide diagnostic evaluation, progress evaluation for IEPs (individual education plans), and TIER identification. The "RTI Response to Intervention" programme, which provides help for reading literacy, will be made available by CAS. During pull-out sessions with learning support staff, students with extra learning needs and those who are identified as gifted and talented will get additional help.

Students at City American School Ajman have access to a trustworthy and reasonably priced transportation service. Shuttle buses with safety features and good maintenance make up the fleet. The transport service is offered for the emirates of Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai, and Umm Al Quwain.

There is a canteen within the school where students may purchase reasonably priced hot and cold food and drinks.

30 teachers have been recruited from the US, UK and South Africa. There are 22 different student nationalities represented in total at the school, of which 75% are from different Arab nations, 22. 75% of pupils are Emirati, and the remaining 22.25% are non-Arab nationals.
