The institution, which was founded in 1894, offers talented students from all ages, origins, and religions an excellent education. Based on GCSE and A-Level achievements, The Sunday Times ranked it as the second-best independent school in the UK in 2018. It has previously led The Times' league tables for prep schools and independent schools in England for A-levels. It has given the UK's International Mathematical Olympiad teams two female competitors.
