School History & Details

The Dalton School Hong Kong (DSHK) is a bilingual primary school for Hong Kong residents. It opened in 2017 and is based on the Dalton plan, a child-centered program. The school also partners with Tsinghua University Primary School to emphasize Chinese language, culture, and values. DSHK encourages students to read from an early age and cultivate good reading habits. Students learn the Chinese language through the Tsinghua textbook in a student-centered, bilingual environment. The school's mathematics program views the subject through both an Asian and a Western lens. The school is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM and is closed on Saturday and Sunday. It has a wheelchair-accessible entrance etc.
