Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram (also known as DPS R. K. Puram or RKP) is a co-educational day and private boarding school in South Delhi, New Delhi, India, serving students from 6th to 12th grades. It was formed in 1972 as the second Delhi public school after Delhi Public School on Mathura Road. The school frequently appears at the top of many academic excellence rankings. DPS R. K. Puram is connected with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and recognized by the Department of Education, Government of NCT Delhi, and the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. It is a member of both the Indian Public Schools' Conference (IPSC) and the National Progressive Schools' Conference (NPSC). DPS R.K. Puram has long been regarded as one of India's most prestigious institutions. In 2014, for example, 2,800 applications were received for 140 nursery school spaces, resulting in an acceptance rate of barely 5%, which, according to The New York Times, is comparable to that of premier institutions in the United States.

Vidhaan Srivastava from Class X has been granted the prestigious SOF - ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP for 2023-24, demonstrating the winner's remarkable talent and unrelenting dedication to study. In Class X 46.5% of students have scored 90% and above and 76% 80% and above  In Class XII 43% of students have scored 90% and above and 84% have scored 75% and above.

Aryaveer Dewan of Class X D won the US Junior Open squash title 2023, held in Philadelphia, America from December 16 to December 19, 2023. At the Sanskrit Olympiad, Jayesh Aggarwal of class X-J got the Silver Medal, Silver Badge, and Certificate, while Advika Aggarwal of class IX-J received the Bronze Medal, Bronze Badge, and Certificate.  The Science Branch of the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, conducted the Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP) Examination on January 22, 2023. Ms. Padma Srinivasan, Principal, DPS RKPuram, earned the "CBSE Honour for Excellence in Teaching and School Leadership" in 2021. Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram promotes a broad range of comprehensive and contemporary education. 143 students took the exam, and 58 passed with flying colours. Their outstanding accomplishment at MVPP has added feathers to the school's achievement tally. H. Jatin Vikash (IX E) won the All India First Position, making the school proud of his outstanding achievement. Sushant Kumar Agarwal (IX B) and Akshat Jain (IX K) finished third and fourth, respectively, demonstrating that DPS R.K Puram students are second to none.
