According to the KHDA guidelines, the school welcomes everyone regardless of their religion or nationality and the parents those who are interested in enrolling their children's should first fill the application form that is available on the school’s website.
During the admission process, the parents are also asked to submit a medical form with all the relevant information about their child’s wellbeing. According to the student's age level, previous school records and entry exam results, the students are enrolled in the grades.
An entrance exam is must for those students, who are applying for admissions in Grade 2 to Grade 12 and should pass the three key subjects including English, Mathematics and Arabic. However the entrance exam does not require any preparation and is based upon the familiarity and abilities for each level. The details given below is an overview of the entrance exam duration.
PS: a. Lower elementary: 30 minutes.
b. Upper elementary: 90 minutes.
c. Intermediate: 2 hours.
d. Secondary stage: 2 to 3 hours.
After the successful clearance of the entrance exam, the student receives an appointment for an interview with the principal, academic principal or their assistants.
The kindergarten teachers schedule a verbal interview to get to know about the student’s linguistic and motor skill abilities, whereas the Grade 1 students are required to take an entrance exam and a verbal interview to check their attainment in English, Mathematics and Arabic.
If required, one to one evaluation may be conducted and the final decision of the admission is made within two working days. If the entrance exam result does not match the admission criteria, then in that case the student might have to go through the another entrance exam or might be granted conditional acceptance from the school. A proficiency test in the scientific subject is required, for those students taking admission in Grade 11 and 12. Also the school give priority to the siblings of the already enrolled students.
