The Dundalk Grammar School (DGS) is a mixed interdenominational school in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, that provides education for students aged 4 to 18, from primary through to secondary education. The school was founded in 1739 as a Charter School by the Incorporated Society for Promoting Protestant Schools in Ireland. It is one of the oldest schools in Ireland and presently has 600 pupils, including about 100 boarding students, drawn from Ireland and overseas.

The school is situated on a 10-acre campus with Georgian buildings, mature trees, sprawling lawns and picturesque gardens. It takes a comprehensive approach to education, emphasizing the development of students in academic, sporting, social, and spiritual realms.

The Dundalk Grammar School (DGS) in Louth, Ireland has had several academic achievements, including:- 1. In 2018, more than half of DGS students got their first choice course on the CAO, UCAS, and EUNICAS systems. 2. In 2021, the Leaving Certificate Class of 2021 achieved some of the best results ever for a Leaving Certificate cohort, despite the impact of COVID-19. 3. In 2024, Emilie and Nick (TY) won first place in the John Hooper Medal for Statistics competition, and Corentin and Kian (6th Yr & TY) received an Order of Merit award. The school has a commitment to academic excellence. On average, 97% of Leaving Certificate school leavers from DGS go on to third level education in the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere. In 2023, Feidhelm Matthews, a first-year student, placed second nationally in the first-year category of the Maths Week Olympiad. In January 2024, DGS students Nick Kuzmin, Mickey Chung, Eoin Larkin, and Reyna Simpson won the north-east regional round of the Junior Problem Solver competition, hosted by the Irish Applied Maths Teachers Association. The school also holds an annual awards ceremony to recognize and reward excellence in academic study, music, sport, and community achievements etc.
