Emirates American School

The Emirates American School follows an easy admission process for the new and returning. At EAS Sharjah parents can enroll their children for the first time by submitting the online application form available on the school website. If your child is a part of this school, by submitting the re-registration form re-register it for the next year.

For new admissions the following documents are required along with the online registration form:

a. A copy of the valid passports of the candidate, mother, and father.

b. A copy of valid residence visas of the candidate, mother, and father (for expatriates).

c. Original Emirates ID of the candidate, mother, and father (for scanning).

d. A copy of the birth certificate.

e. Transfer certificate.

f. Attested report cards for the last grade (the last two years’ report cards are required for admission in high school).

g. Good conduct certificate issued by the previous school.

h. Six recent passport-size photographs of the candidate (against a white background).

The school will contact the parents on the contact information provided in the form i.e. after submitting the registration form and documents. To bring their child for an assessment the school invites the parents, which may include an entrance test or an interview, or both. To gauge the skills of the candidate this step is taken and place him or her in the appropriate grade. In deciding the appropriate grade for the candidate, age is another vital factor.

Successful students are given admission. These students' parents have to pay the required deposit and submit any document required for admission by the deadline. Failure to do so might result in the admission cancellation.
