The Council for Private Education in Singapore has authorized Furen International School (FIS), a private educational institution since its establishment in the year 2000. In addition to the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) in local government secondary schools, FIS offers preparation courses for students taking the Cambridge IGCSE, Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level, CIE A-Level, Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level, and the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level exams. In 2007, the Advanced Level course was launched, and several of our pioneering A-Level alumni were successful in getting accepted to the National University of Singapore (NUS). The top pupils from our school were accepted into Oxford and Cambridge by 2014.
